arizona pecan growers | association why arizona pecans

Ninety-five percent of the world's pecan crop is grown in the sunbelt region of the United States, where year-round sunshine, warmth and moisture provide the perfect climate for this rare and valuable North American native commodity.
Our premium quality pecans, grown under ideal conditions in sunny southern Arizona, home to some of the largest orchards in the world with the highest production per acre, have consistently won awards for their fresh, full-bodied meat and flawless appearance.

With Arizona ranking 4th in pecan production in the United States and producing some of the highest quality pecans due to our unique climate conditions of low humidity and cool nights,

combined with the fact that the pecan is the primary native American nut produced in the country.
